I found her thru my healthcare provider. Quick and easy to make the appointment and once i arrived i felt very welcomed. Eventually i needed a deep cleaning and my insurance covered it. I spoke with Dr. Maria eventually to talk about the straightening of my teeth and the process it will take to get them straight. I was giving an estimate for braces and such. Very nice and elegant and easy to understand. My first visit was in 2017 and currently its 2020. I always arrive on time for my appointments, I wait less then 5-10 mins for my dentist to see me, and the procedure takes about 20-30 minutes depending on mine dental hygiene. I always get treated with respect, i get seen right away, and they have a wonderful staff that speak both English and Spanish. I've never had any issues during any of my visits and will keep coming here unless i move to a different state. Thank you for always providing me with 100% service !!!

Dr. Figueredo, completed dental school and obtained her degree in Dental Medicine Doctor with Cum Laude Honors in School of Dentistry Puerto Rico, one of the most recognized and competitive Schools in the US. She chose to reside in the the State of Florida in 2004 to start her practice and raise her family.
Dr. Figueredo completed an extensive Seminar from the Academy of General Dentistry in Smile Design in December 2007. Obtained her Fellowship from American Dental Implant Association as a reward for her Expertise and Experience in Implant Dentistry. She has assisted plenty of courses and seminars in Periodontal Prosthesis, Bone Regeneration Process, Techniques and Materials; Comprehensive Oral Rehabilitation and Soft Tissue Aesthetics.
For the last years Dr Figueredo has dedicated her studies to Orthodontics; completing a very extensive and comprenhensive Seminar in Orthodontics with emphasis in phase I and II, airway obstruction and its link to malocclussion, orthotic treatments to improve patient profile, mastication, smile and quality of life; and conventional orthodontics to correct croocked teeth and malocclussions in children and adults.
Dr. Figueredo is an active member of several outstanding associations such as American Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and International Association for Orthodontics.
On every patient Dr. Figueredo applies her philosophy that states: “A proper restoration of any dental problem must begin and end with a balanced consideration to naturally beautiful esthetics combined with structural integrity.”

Place is clean/neat. Short wait time.
Doctor was knowledgeable but appeared to be rushing. I had some questions after she explained a veneer procedure but she kept trying to get up and walk out with each question I asked. I think she wanted me to take the hint but she had no other patients at that point. I felt stupid. Front desk receptionist barely looked or spoke to me, that includes the absence of a greeting and a goodbye. The little communication I received was a question on the date of my next visit followed by an appointment card she tossed on the counter for me; this made me feel as if I was bothering/interrupting her.
Overall, I cannot speak on the Doctor's skills because unfortunately, after my initial experience, I felt worthless and humiliated. I will not be returning.

Dr. Figueredo is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She explained everything in detail to me about my procedure. The staff are all very professional and attentive. I was lucky to find her on ZocDoc. I would highly recommend Healthy Smiles Dentistry.
