Dr. Silvestry’s favorite dentist joke: A woman and her husband interrupted their vacation to go to the dentist. “I want a tooth pulled and I don’t want Novocaine because I am in a big hurry” the woman said, “just extract the tooth as soon as possible and we’ll be on our way.” The dentist was quite impressed. “You’re certainly a courageous woman. Which tooth is it?” The woman turned to her husband and said “show him your tooth dear.”

This was my first visit with this dentist. She was very thorough and professional.
I like to be transparent whenever I write my reviews and in this case I did not have a good experience at this office for my first appointment. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and had to wait a total of 40 minutes before I was finally called in. No one informed me that the doctor was running behind and I had to ask the front desk what was taking so long before they finally called me in. I also told them I didn’t want a full set of X-rays to be taken since my insurance only covers them once every 5 years. The receptionist told me they would waive the cost, but then the dental assistant told me that I’d need to pay out of pocket. At that time, I was there for about an hour without being seen by the doctor and had to leave to pick up my child without getting anything done. It’s disappointing because I really wanted to like this office but it did not work out. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to others.
