Dr. Mauricio Malo is a third-generation dentist. He was born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in South Florida. Dr. Mauricio Malo received his D.D.S. Degree from the Colombian School of Dentistry in 1995. He completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine at Jacksons Memorial Hospital before going on to complete a post-graduate specialty program in Advanced Prosthodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Malo also served at Loma Linda as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry from 2000 to 2003.
Presently, Dr. Malo is an Adjunct Faculty at NOVA South Eastern University School of Dentistry.
He has been teaching in the Post-Graduate Prosthodontic Department for the past two years. Dr. Malo is an active member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Malo is committed to caring for every patient with the utmost respect, treating every one as an individual and always listening to patients' concerns. He focuses on patient education in order to encourage good oral health, which reflects onto a patient's overall health. With his post-graduate certification as a Prosthodontist, Dr. Malo provides an extremely high level of care and expertise to patients with missing teeth, or those who have significant damage to their existing teeth, in order to restore optimum function and esthetics.

Simply, I got ripped off by one of his assistant, and I requested chargeback through my bank. Here is why.
I visited this office for deep cleaning. It was done by one of the dentist's assistant. I was in a rush and she said she could do them all in one day. She was done in less than 1 hour. I was amazed because it usually takes 4 visits.
But, it was more of teeth scaling according to my original dentist which i had to visit 2 weeks later for my cavity. Now, I have to do another deep cleaning.
I have no doubt that Dr Mauricio Malo is a great dentist, but that one particular assistant was full of lies.
