We loved our previous pediatric dentist but needed to make the move for insurance reasons. And we left Dr. Chin's office today very. She was wonderful with our daughter, didn't feel rushed and was very helpful and informative. Very happy to have Dr. Chin looking after our daughter's teeth and health.

Dr. Megan Chin completed her dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry where she received high honors and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honors Society.
She then moved to California where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCLA and worked for two years as a general practitioner in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving as Managing Dentist. After treating many children, her growing passion for pediatric dental care lead her back to the East Coast to pursue her certificate as a Pediatric Dental Specialist at Stony Brook University. There she served as Chief Resident and taught undergraduate dental students during their clinical studies.
Dr. Chin became Board Certified and is a current Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is on staff at Northwell-Lenox Hill Hospital. In addition, Dr. Chin is an Attending Dentist at Mount Sinai Hospital where she spends time teaching and training residents in the Pediatric Dental Residency program.
Always seeking to broaden her knowledge in the dental field and foster shared learning of her field, Dr. Chin remains active in many study clubs and organizations, on both a local and national level. She currently serves as New York Chapter President of the American Association of Women Dentists. She serves as a Pediatric Dental expert and is the author of several articles on pediatric dental topics. Most recently, she was interviewed for a featured dental article in the October 2018 issue of Parents Magazine. She has a strong commitment to community outreach and has done clinical and educational outreach locally, as well as abroad in India. Her goal is to make sure that all of her patients have a positive, fun and stress-free experience during each dental visit.
When not working, Dr. Chin embraces in New York City where she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and much-loved pets. Always seeking to broaden her life experiences, she can be found seeking out new destinations for world travel, sampling new foods, and dabbling in yoga and meditation. Dr. Chin is an avid animal lover and supporter of animal rights; she regularly volunteers her time to care for animals in need with local charities like PAWS NY and New York Cares.

I went to see Dr. Megan Chin after my child cracked a tooth in a playground accident. This was a delicate situation and I feel very fortunate to have found such a great pediatric dentist for our child. Dr. Megan Chin and her staff excel both in their professional competence - the tooth looked perfect after a 20-25 intervention - and in their approach and attitude towards the patient. Not only everyone is extremely nice but their communication is also very clear and thoughtful. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Chin was so thorough and detailed in my daughter's examination. She explained every step to us and made sure that my daughter knew what was happening. Her assistant was also very sweet and kept my daughter distracted. Wonderful staff, we will definitely be back again!

This place is amazing. Dr. Megan creates such a special experience. Stickers and toys aside, she thinks about all the ways to make kids feel special. After his first visit, my usually shy and introverted son even gave Dr. Megan a hug. He smiled for hours after his appointment. Highly recommended!

Dr. Chin made the experience for our 2-year-old daughter comfortable and fun. She's patient, kind and a calming presence. Her office space is setup with lots of thoughtful touches that make the experience easy for both parents and child. Highly recommend!

Dr. Megan was wonderful! We discovered her office when my 2 year old fell and needed a dentist immediately. I was frantically looking for a dentist to check her teeth. Luckily I remember walking down the street and saw her sign! We called and she told us to immediately come over to do an exam. We felt welcomed from the minute we walked in. The office is gorgeous and the room was child-friendly and bright. There's a huge tv and cute stuffed animals in the room. My daughter even let the doctor take an x-ray. She can't even sit still for a haircut! The staff are super friendly and Dr. Megan is truly a wizard (I think the stickers and prizes help too). My daughter asked when she can come back and we certainly will for regular check-ups! So glad to have a great and reliable dentist a block away from us.

We took our son to see Dr. Chin for his first dentist appointment. Dr. Chin made our son feel comfortable and safe. From the moment she first met him in the waiting room, to the time she said goodbye, Dr. Chin treated him with the upmost care and compassion. Several weeks later our son is still asking when he can go see Dr. Chin again.
Dr. Chin also thoughtfully guided us on how to help our son build strong dental habits. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Dr. Chin was amazing with my son! It was his first experience with a dentist and it couldn’t have gone better. She was so patient and kind to him and her office is bright, colorful, chic and friendly! He seriously asks to go to the dentist now! Thank you!

Dr. Chin is a great dentist. She was caring and gentle in her approach and carefully identified the issues with my teeth. Her treatment subsequently solved the problems I was facing. I had a severe pain in my mouth, she examined, then diagnosed the issue and provided a treatment plan that I felt comfortable with. She even continued to ensure that the pain had been alleviated well after treatment concluded. The entire experience (from staff, to examination, to dental work) was pleasant. I would strongly recommend Dr. Chin to anyone looking for a nice and extremely competent dentist.
