Dr. Teo was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns. Very easy to talk to and understanding. He addressed all of them and was able give me referrals where needed and a treatment plan for Invisalign. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Teo was born and raised in Singapore, and he obtained his dental degree in 2004 from the University of Adelaide. After working as a general dentist for 8 years, he moved to New York to pursue his passion for orthodontics. He completed both international and postgraduate studies in Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopedic training in NYU and is a diplomate for the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Teo’s treatment philosophy starts with understanding each and every individual patient’s goals and needs, and works hand-in-hand with them to establish and build a balanced, beautiful smile. Having worked as a general dentist prior to his orthodontic specialization, Dr. Teo has the benefit of a broader approach to his patients’ dental needs and enjoys multi-disciplinary cases which may involve working together with your primary dental care provider, as well as other specialists such as oral surgeons, prosthodontists and periodontists. Dr. Teo also has a particular interest in adult orthodontics, and has published research on accelerated orthodontics and adult orofacial orthopedics. He believes that orthodontics should be both esthetic and convenient; and thus is continuously finding ways to further optimize the use of clear aligner and Invisalign therapy.
Dr. Teo is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the only orthodontic board certification that is recognized by the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists, and is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Teo stays sporty and active, from boxing and tennis to yoga and Pilates. He enjoys traveling with his wife and his beloved rescue dog, from road trips to overseas adventures.

As always its a pleasure making appointments with Simply Orthodontic, the office often, if not always, tries to accomodate schedules and consistentcy. The payment plans are reasonable and very helpful in considering any situation. The doctors are amazing, patient, understanding, encouraging and so very friendly like the rest of the staff. Amazing office. I recommend to everyone and anyone needing orthodontic needs.

I came to see Dr. Teo for Invisalign. I'm halfway through my treatment at five out of ten months. I initially wanted a second opinion after seeing my previous orthodontist (who if I had continued with, would've butchered my entire experience.) I am thankful I ended up with Dr. Teo for the best quality of work. Dr. Teo is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, patient, an excellent listener, and most importantly, genuine. He truly cares about not only his work, but how it will make you feel. I highly recommend him.
