Dr. Michael Bolten grew up in rural Rio Vista, Texas, south of the D/FW metroplex. He received his bachelors in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of North Texas and graduated Cum Laude. He received the Saunders Dental Scholarship and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, graduating cum laude as well. This Dental School is ranked #1 nationally. He has been in private practice for three years in McKinney. Dr. Bolten lives in McKinney with his wife and three young children.
Dr. Bolten maintains a conservative approach to dentistry with a focus on preventive care. He believes strongly in continuing education in order to provide the best technology for patients. Dr. Bolten's goal is to provide excellent care while making dental visits comfortable and time-efficient for the patient.
Outside of work, Dr. Bolten enjoys playing a variety of sports such as softball and racquetball as well as outdoor recreation such as mountain biking and snowboarding. Spending time with his family is a top priority, and he is passing on his love of sports and adventure to his three boys.
