He was completely honest about what needed to be done with my teeth and he was not pushy about purchasing anything. He was very patient and had a very positive attitude. I did not feel like I needed to leave and get second opinion. He was amazing and went out of his way for me. You could really tell he loves his profession and wants his patients to feel completely satisfied with their visit. He made me feel comfortable and was very professional. I highly recommend you book your next teeth appointment with Dr. Catafesta!

I've been a patient of Dr. Cattafesta's for many, many years and he's terrific. He's personable, he's very cognizant of a patient's comfort level, and I've never wound up having issues with any of the dental work he's done. The practice's hygienists are great too. I always hated going to see dentists, but I'm really comfortable with Dr. Cattafesta, and he and his staff always make things as smooth and painless as possible.

Michael Cattafesta, D.D.S. is a long time resident of the Washington, D.C. area. He grew up in Rockville, Maryland and attended the University of Virginia. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1989 and served as a Navy Dentist for seven years before returning to this area to build a private practice. Dr. Cattafesta is well-trained in all areas of general dentistry including tooth colored fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, extractions, and cosmetic procedures. Patients appreciate his thorough explanations of their treatment and the gentle manner in which it is delivered.

He, his wife Beth, and sons Gregory and Jonathan live in Northern Virginia. He enjoys tennis, softball and traveling.

Normally, Dr Cattafesta is gentle with his hands. Today he seemed to be in a rush and was rough with the instruments. The sharp instruments that are used during filling process, poked me few times which is very unusual. Otherwise the procedure went smooth and it was timely.
