I went to Dr.Gelfand because of the reviews and I couldn’t agree with them anymore! All the nurses and woman working the front desk were extremely helpful. I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time and they really helped me understand everything that was going on.

I had an emergency today and I found this dentist on Zocdoc. Read the reviews and he sounded really good so I went. Once I arrived the receptionist was very polite and you can tell a place that’s well organized from the moment you enter. Turned out my wisdom tooth needed to be removed immediately. So the doctor made me feel really comfortable and calmed me down. He made sure that my comfort came first and he was very patient. Overall I removed my wisdom tooth without any pain. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

Dr. Gelfand and the entire staff were very friendly and extremely informative. I came in for a cleaning and then Dr. Gelfand came up with a solution to my jaw pain and wrote up a dental plan for the year, to map out what the process and cost would be to fix my jaw and teeth issues. Love this place! Will be returning!

Michael Gelfand is the only Dentist I trust. Not just because he is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field but mainly because he makes sure that I never feel pain (tooth pain is my worst fear). Whenever he does any kind of procedure he goes an extra mile to make me feel comfortable. I trust Michael with my daughter's smile and he treats my wife as well. He is my family dentist and has been for many years. I highly recommend Michael to anyone who is looking for a great doctor.

Dr Gelfand and his staff are the best!! I was recommended to him by a friend several years ago. Dr.G and his staff are the best! His Jovial humor and professionalism is paramount to all the dentist I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot!! However most of all you can really see that Dr Gelfand is there for his patients,and he's all about his patients.

It was amaizing!!!! This visit was for my 6..5 years old daughter and it was her first dental appointment. She was so scared, she was shaking. Staff was simply amaizing, sooo friendly. Michael Gelfand maneurism was very professional and knowledgeable, gentle, communicative and attentive. I had a serious emergency after Hurricance Sandy; being displaced from my home was difficult enough since my primary dentist

Impressed. I am 52 years old. My mouth was injured when I was 18 and my front tooth was knocked out. Since then I was wearing a removable denture. When I came to Family Smile Dental for a routine cleaning I was given an option to replace my removable denture with an implant. I followed the doctor's advice. Now, I am not tied down to a removable piece in my mouth. Why was this never offered to me before? Highly recommended!!!

I visited Family Smile Dental for the first time in July of 2010. Everyone in the office was very respectful of my time -- I was seen at the time of my appointment. The doctor took his time to explain to me my treatment plan and presented me with a written copy at no cost. When I actually came back for treatment, everything went as was described during my first appointment. I am a happy patients at Family Smile Dental.
