Basically never write reviews but had a notably bad experience. Came in to get my permanent retainer fixed. Everyone in the office upsold pretty aggressively for additional cleaning, fillings, teeth filings, etc. Ended up waiting 40 minutes to get the retainer fixed only to be told the doctor wasn't available then. Came back another day and got it fixed, doctor was hurried and patronizing the whole time. Now one month later the part of the retainer they fixed just broke again. Pretty hard to recommend.
Shout out to Aaron the technician though, he was nice and helpful.

I made an appt that was confirmed multiple times through Zocdoc and submitted all insurance paperwork beforehand - I am also an existing patient here. When I got to the office they said they had no appointment for me. I told them I booked through Zocdoc and they were able to find it but they told me the Zocdoc appointment is not actually an appointment but rather a request for an appt and because the dentist directly never reached out I wasn’t confirmed? (Despite receiving confirmations from Zocdoc). When I expressed frustration over taking time off of work to not be seen they told me to calm down because “this is a spa.” Honesty I remember this about them from when I used to go regularly - they are more interested in upselling you cosmetic dental products (they push Invisalign REALLY hard) and it felt more like a sales pitch always rather than a dentist appt. Don’t go here if you just need a good cleaning + exam.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Berwick and the Wall Street Dental Spa! Dr. Berwick is so kind and knowledgeable and was flexible in supporting me. I could tell she genuinely cared about helping me which I loved. The staff was all extremely warm, happy to see me and personable. When I booked, I was expecting a normal cleaning experience, but instead I got the Wall Street Dental Spa. Good or bad depends on what you’re looking for, but it was interesting to say the least. The dentist chair was a massage chair and I got the choice of spa treatments during my cleaning. The hygienist was good and so was the dentist, but I’m not sure how I feel about the spa thing. Anyways, worth noting for folks looking to book.

I have been seeing Dr Berwick for about 3 years and have never trusted a dentist more. She is thorough: truly takes the time to listen to my concerns and shares her honest opinion and recommended course of action. She also did my Invisalign and I loved the results. I’ve never felt pushed to a treatment plan that I wasn’t comfortable with, which feels rare those days in dentistry. Her honesty, candidness and bedside manner is what keeps me coming back. And she’s relatable!

It took me almost five years to finally and fortunately find Manhattan Dental Arts after years of disappointment from other practices. When I heard several months ago that my usual dentist here was relocating to another state, I began to worry about how I would like her replacement. Well, I should have never doubted MDA's decision on the matter. Dr. Caitlin Berwick instantly re-established my confidence with this uniquely talented group of professionals, maintaining its excellent reputation. On my first visit with her, it felt as though she had been successfully treating me for years. Her knowledge, professionalism and bedside manner are top-tier. I had a horrible experience once with a dentist and it took a year with another dentist to correct this. As a result I've been terrified to see any dentist. I explained this to Dr Betwick and she was very supportive and extremely careful when working with me. It is truly because of how she treated me that I agreed to come back in and get back on track. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I saw Dr Berwick after I was unhappy with my previous dentist because I felt like they were very pushy on treatments and felt like they were not being 100 % transparent.
I saw Dr Berwick this week and I was thoroughly impressed by her level of transparency, professionalism and willingness to share all options to me.
She had fantastic bedside manner, took time to listen to my concerns and was able to provide a thorough examination of my teeth. I immediately felt like I was in great hands from the get go.
I’m excited to continue to see Dr Berwick and I’m glad I now have regular and trustworthy dentist to see in New York!
