I love this office, they are well organized, very accommodating and I just feel at ease with my dental treatments. Excellent customer care from beginning to end. Staff always greet you with a smile, and the doctors are very courteous and professional.

I'm always very apprehensive going to the dentist, so I avoid it as much as possible. That being said, after getting a very deep filling by Dr. Siu, I feel a little more comfortable going to the dentist now. This was my first cavity, so I was very nervous & didn't know what to expect. Dr. Siu & his assistant walked me through the entire procedure, he showed me my cavity on the x-ray, & explained exactly why I needed the filling to be done. I've been taken advantage of at the dentist before for my lack of knowledge. This time, for the first time I can actually say that I felt comfortable with everything that was suggested & done. Great experience!

Dr. Michael Siu was born in Hong Kong, and moved to San Francisco at the age of 5. He grew up in the foggy Sunset district of San Francisco. He obtained his bachelor of science degree from the University of California, Davis. He always had an interest in how biology, biochemistry, anatomy, genetics, and physiology can explain the way our fascinating body works. Coupled with his love of working with his hands such as tinkering with computers, cars and bikes, he pursued and completed his dental training at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. After dental school, he completed a one year comprehensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Veterans Affairs Maine Healthcare Systems in Augusta, Maine. There, he was able to learn from specialists such as oral surgeons, periodontists, and prosthodontists. Dr. Siu has always known he would make his way back to the Bay Area. Five years in the brutal Midwest and northeast winters was enough, and he is ecstatic to be home in sunny California. After completing his formal training, he joined Alpine Dental Care to provide optimal, gentle and quality care. His philosophy is to work together with patients in choosing the right treatment option for that individual.
Dr. Siu is a member of the California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentist, and American Dental Association. He diligently and enthusiastically attends continuing education courses to learn the latest and greatest dentistry has to offer.
On his free time, Dr. Siu likes to hang out with family and friends, travel, cook, play basketball, explore the Bay Area, and keep his Subaru running as long as the missus can put up with it.

I came in for a new patient exam and cleaning. I was surprised how friendly the front staff welcomed me. When I met the assistant and Dr. Siu, I realized I was in good hands. They made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The doctor's explanations were thorough and understandable. He was patient with my questions and answered them accordingly. I enjoyed my visit with Alpine, and can't wait to continue.
