Dr. Stein graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After serving in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, he opened a general dentistry practice in Stamford.
Quickly noticing that the highest quality of patient care necessitated the addition of in-house specialists, Dr. Stein founded The Stein Dental Group. Today the practice has nine doctors and a talented staff to provide a one-stop location treating all facets of dentistry.
Dr. Stein is a former president of the Stamford Dental Society and has served on the board of several organizations, including the Jewish Home for the Elderly and the Springdale Neighborhood Association.

I had some tooth rot and suggested to get a root canal. It was very expensive and during my root canal diagnosis, the dentist recommended I have two fillings as well. I came back at a later appointment to have the two fillings done. The dentist started injecting me with local anesthesia on the other side of my mouth which confused me so I confirmed with him that my filling is on the other side. He said I also have to get another filling on that side done as well. In my mind, now there are 3 fillings to be done. My bill came and was charged 4 fillings. There was total lack of communication on what I agreed to. Apparently one tooth that needed a filling was close to another tooth that also needed to be filled. First, please ask for my consent on filling a tooth that I didn't agree to. Second, please tell me that one filling is actually two fillings.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Stein for decades. He's worked with us through job and insurance changes, with emergencies, and has always accommodated all our dental needs. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Dr Stein and the doctors at Stein dental are the absolute best. I have never had any problems with any of the doctors their. They are all just wonderful. I recommend the Stein dental group to all, brave and cowards alike.

I filled out The info on Zocdoc but when arrived I had to do it all over again, as they could not pull it up.
The Dentist was pleasant but did not introduce herself and seem to be in a rush. Technician was excellent! Would have loved to see staff cleaning their hands.

Dr. Tiffany Sudre was extremely helpful and took great care of me in my dental emergency. She explained everything thoroughly and made me feel at ease. The dental assistants were very professional and helpful as well. They helped me feel welcomed and comfortable for my first ever visit to this office. I wish I had discovered this place years ago!!!!!

My visits to Stein Dental are just as I want them to be - I am seen on-time; Dr. Stein and his colleagues are friendly and professional, and discuss my treatment options with my best interests in mind. They do their best to see that I am comfortable and are always available in the event of an emergency or if any follow-up care is needed. The staff are excellent especially JoAnne, the office manager, who is always very helpful with any insurance or billing questions. I have been a patient for more than 7 years, have required a significant amount of dental work and am very satisfied.

Consistent with my experiences past 14 years, I received prompt, courteous and expert dental treatment. I broke a cup two days ago when travelling and Stein Dental was able to treat me immediately upon my return. Great dentists, specialists and hygienists, all under one roof!
