About Dr. Liany Farinas-Han
Dr. Liany Farinas-Han received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While in dental school, she earned several accolades, including the Gold Club Award for Cosmetic Dentistry and membership in the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.
An accomplished classical concert pianist, Dr. Farinas-Han graduated from The Juilliard School with a full scholarship, supported in part by the Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship. After graduating from Juilliard, while actively teaching and performing as a concert pianist, she discovered her passion for dentistry. She skillfully combines the precise hands of a pianist with modern dental technology to deliver exceptional results to her patients.
Dr. Farinas-Han is multilingual—fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian and Portuguese. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
In 2020, Dr. Farinas-Han was honored as one of Incisal Edge’s 40 Under 40, recognizing her as one of America’s best young dentists.

The office staff was very friendly and I was seen immediately even through I was early for my appointment. I have some anxiety about the dentist but the staff was never condescending or rude, they explained everything to me and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. I had such a good experience at this office. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Dr. Farinas-Han has amazing bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable. I also appreciated how I was seen in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this office! I am always hesitant about going to the dentist from past experiences, but I really felt like I was being taken care of here. Look forward to returning in the future for routine cleanings.

I loved this office and believe I’ve found my new dentist. I went in because a crown fell out, didn’t wait long at all which was amazing, and was met with friendly staff the whole way through, I’m usually so nervous to go to the dentist and everyone helped me feel so at ease. I truly despise going to the dentist. I must say my mind has been perminately changed with the kindness I was shown.
