Dr. Michelle Borrus completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Brandeis University. After graduating, she moved to Washington DC to attend Howard University College of Dentistry. She graduated in 2001 and then completed a 2 year general practice residency with a focus on special needs dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She served as chief resident in her second year.Since 2004, she has been in private practice in the DC area, providing comprehensive dentistry to adults and kids of all ages. In 2013, she had the opportunity to open her own practice in Germantown, Maryland. She is looking forward to building a true family practice.
She makes it a priority to take continuing education classes so that she can provide her patients with the most up to date quality comprehensive dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
She lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband Frank, and her two young children Jenna and Jake. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, going to the beach and reading.

After moving to this area, I really needed a dentist that I could trust. I searched online and was very lucky to find Dr. Borrus. She is very gentle and professional. She made me feel very relaxed, answered patiently all my questions and kept checking on me during each procedure to ensure my comfort. The staff is also lovely to talk with, friendly and caring. They have a very clean office and well organized. Would definitely recommend!!!

Every time I do come to see Dr. Borrus it is a pleasure.
SHE IS EXCELLENT DENTIST.
Her staff are the BEST. I would recommend any family members of mine to her.
If you need a good dentist just call Dr. Borrus.
Dr. Borrus medical assistant makes you feel so comfortable and relax when you are back there in the room. She makes sure you are doing ok and if you have questions she will try to answer them .

Dr Borrus is a calming presence. She is competent and thorough. She explains everything she is doing, and answers questions completely. She and her staff inspire coincidence. Going to the dentist is no one's favorite thing, but Dr. B makes it as good as it can be.

Really nice people working here - - talkative, let you know what's in front of you (i.e. "18 x-rays total, some will be uncomfortable"), and everyone smiles and is helpful and happy. Not sure an office staff could be more accommodating than they are.

Dr. Borrus "inherited me" as a patient from the former dentist who owned the practice. I have been quite pleased with the service I have received from her. She retained the staff when she took over, so continuity was preserved. She has not pressured me to have any procedures that didn't seem necessary, and is good about explaining options for treatment. I recommend her as a dentist, as well as the rest of the staff.

Professional, personal, efficient, excellent dentistry and very fast appointment. Just enough Novacaine to get the work done comfortably, and it was wearing off shortly after the appointment so I was NOT over medicated. Really happy with both the doctor and her staff/practice.
