This office is home to the best ortho in town. How they became so amazing is a long story to tell. A journey with success at the end of the tunnel is a long road worth the travel for this welcoming room with shiney teeth and straight smiles to marvel at.

Our orthodontist, Dr. Khakhria (pronounced Ka-kria), was born and raised in Kenya, hence the safari theme of his office. At the age of 16, he went to England to complete his Dental degree from the University of Manchester Dental School. Before entering private practice in London, Dr. Khakhria also completed a one-year General Practice Residency. During this time in London, he met and married his lovely wife, Priti.
Soon after, Dr.Khakhria enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where upon graduation he was awarded the International Dentist of the Year Award and ranked first in his class. The National Council of the Psi Omega dental fraternity awarded Dr. Khakhria the Scholastic Achievement Award.
Dr. Khakhria continued his education in the Masters program at the University of Oklahoma Orthodontics Residency. After two and a half years of specialty training, he was awarded a Certificate of Orthodontic Specialty and a Master of Science degree.
Both of Dr. Khakhria’s parents are physicians. They instilled in him at a young age the spirit of community service and helping your neighbors. Dr. and Mrs. Khakhria are now teaching their young boys the same. The family is actively involved in the community in everything from feeding the homeless to leading local community organizations. Our office has been organizing an annual pumpkin drive since 2007 for the children at Plantation General Hospital and Dan Marino Center. The family believes in giving back to our community.
