About Dr. Kathleen M Valencia
Dr. Kathleen Valencia was born in Bogota, Colombia but relocated to the United States as a child living in the Midwest then South Florida. She graduated dental school and completed her Orthodontic Residency from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, then went on the attend Nova Southeastern University in 2008 where she later became the Director of Orthodontic Clinic. Dr. Valencia is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Association of Orthodontists and South Florida Association of Orthodontists. She is married with three sons and is fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time she volunteers in science and health programs at schools and enjoys golf, yoga and music.
