Dr. Minesh Patel is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. He attended college at Texas A&M University in College Station and graduated with his degree in Management-Small Business & Entrepreneurship. After Dr. Patel’s time at Texas A&M he went on to graduate with his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. After a few years in San Antonio, Dr. Patel relocated to his hometown in Houston and joined FLOSS soon thereafter.
Aside from being a dentist and FLOSS owner, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. He likes to travel, watch sporting events, and explore new restaurants. It is Dr. Patel’s goal as a dentist to build not only a professional, but also a personal relationship with his FLOSS patients.

Everyone at the office was super welcoming and went out of their way to make you comfortable. Louie is fantastic! He's friendly and quick with x-rays. Bliss was a phenomenal hygienist! She's super gentle but effective. Corina was attentive and sweet. Dr. Patel was great as well. He took a minute to get to know me and explained everything in terms I could understand. I love my new dentist!

They advertise semiannual free whitening but when I asked they said only once a year and I need a book a separate appointment for that. Waited 30 mins for them in the room for come and give me the bill before they could start cleaning the teeth. My husband had a appointment too and he took half day for that, then found out that dr Patel is not in the office, no one bothered to call him to reschedule. When I asked them, they said your husband should probably reschedule since dr is not here. Worst dentist experience ever. Total first visit time: 3 hrs. 30 mins for actual cleaning. When I asked if I can come back for cleaning since I have a little baby and this is taking longer than expected, I was told that they are booked and won’t be able to book another appointment for me.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for about 2 years now and no matter how many problems I run into they are always very accommodating and I never feel as if I’m a burden. Thank you so much Dr. Patel and a special thanks to Shao (spelling?) for always being so amazing. I’ve referred at least 4 people from work and they all say great things about FLOSS dental.

Pros:
Nice clean office, friendly staff, good dental work.
Cons:
Parking isn't ideal. They have canceled at least two appointments I made through ZocDoc, it'd be nice if they were better about making sure the slots are actually available.

He is a great dentist. When he hit a spot where I could feel pain I would hold up my hand and he would immediately stop and deaden that spot more before continuing. He was very caring that I feel no pain and the experience be as stress free as possible.

My wife was a patient of Dr. Minesh Patel for more than a year,. She was very happy about the dental treatment she received from Dr. Patel. This year i had a problem with my teeth therefore, I made an appointment with their office staff. His office staff is very courteous to the patients. He treated me very professionally and did a very good suggestion how to solve my teeth problem. My next visit today was other teeth problem and today he took care of it very nicely. I would recommend Dr Patel full heartedly.
