The only bad thing was a 2pm appointment turned into a 2 1/2 hours waiting to get teeth cleaned

This was a bad experience all around. For the paperwork, part of the packet was applying for a credit card or something to help pay off for treatments, which was odd and i hadn't seen that as standard paperwork before. I feel like somebody should let you know that part of the paperwork is applying for a loan / credit of some sort? But whatever. Fine. I didn't fill that part out. I came in because of jaw pain - which I indicated when I booked on Zocdoc. They just assumed I was in for a teeth cleaning. I said, no, jaw pain and I'd also like a new mouth guard. They said they could definitely help with the mouth guard. The assistant took an X-ray. I sat around and waited for twenty minutes. Then the dentist came, looked at the X-ray, and said he needed another X-ray. When I asked why, he said he'd need a better look so he could see the cavity I had come in about. When I explained I came in because of jaw pain, not a cavity, he was confused and said I'd have to see a specialist. Fine. He then said that the specialist would have to do the mouth guard and he couldnt. Great. It was a huge waste of time and nobody seemed to be listening to me or communicating with each other. They didn't even ask why I was in, and, if I hadn't questioned them, they would have just taken another x ray and charged me and would have been looking for a mystery cavity. Got a scam ee vibe from them. Won't go back.
