She had graduated from Ivano-Frankovsk Medical Institute, College of Dentistry in Ukraine in 1984 and obtained degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2002. She is a member of American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Bartkova has been working in her New York City Upper East Side office since 2004 and had recently relocated her practice to the Upper West Side. Dr. Bartkova strives to continually enhance her skills as a dentist by staying abreast of the latest trends in dentistry, keeping up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Our office specializes in wide spectrum of dental services that range from basic procedures such as cleaning to surgeries such as bone grafting and implants.
We encourage its patients not to underestimate the value of routine dental exams and cleaning, because we know that healthy oral area can lower your risk for coronary heart disease, respiratory disease and complication of diabetes. Dr. was perfectly nice but I left with stains still on my teeth. Only noticed once I got home. Such a disappointment.
Office space looked a bit dated. No TVs to watch while you sit and no gift bag with floss or a toothbrush offered upon leaving.
At the end I felt a bit ambushed by Dr and her assistant to sign up for Invisalign. They seemed genuinely upset when I said no. Overall felt like more time was spent trying to up-sell versus making sure my teeth were truly clean. For someone using a mirror right up against my teeth it’s simply unacceptable to not catch them. Not going back.

Dr. Bartkova is an amazing doctor. She always gives you the best treatment and never forces you to get any extra work done like other doctors that I have had experiences with. Her office staff is also wonderful, had no problem scheduling the appointment. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Very good hands (I have extremely sensitive gums) and even asked me periodically how I was doing during the cleaning, whether it was hurting or not (nope! :). She was very straightforward and prompt and I plan to go back again. I needed to get a second opinion on my x-rays that I had done at a different dentist and I feel confident about her opinion. I feel like her prices were very reasonable, especially for the UWS.
