Dr. Nhat Nguyen grew up in Jersey City, NJ. He attended Hudson Catholic with a scholarship and has been an avid supporter for the school. He did his undergraduate studies in New York University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, he participated in the Endodontic Honors Program and acheived honors for being in the top five percent of his class. He finished his residency in St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing in Jersey City since 1997. While at NYU College of Dentistry, he met his wife, Dr. Maria Sese who also practices with him at the office. They reside in Watchung, NJ with their three children.
Dr. Nguyen strives for dental excellence. He has acquired hundreds of hours of post graduate dental education. He has attended Dr. Frank Spear's Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Education and has completed this curriculum in its entirety. Dr. Spear is a world renowned lecturer traveling all over the world. He was invited by Dr. Spear to be one of his visiting faculty which is quite an honor as this is an elite program. He now teaches and mentors other dentist in all aspects of dentistry from the most simple cosmetics to full mouth reconstructions involving implants and natural teeth.
