Was late due to an accident I let them know and didn’t have any problems when I got there. They were nice and understanding. Office was super friendly and the doctor took time to sing and play the guitar to get my little one getting him more comfortable with him. The staff took time with him and made him feel comfortable and was able to get X-rays which was hard since my little one usually is shy and hyper. Doctor took time to explain thing (new mom) and made sure I understood and ask questions. Overall a very pleasant experience for a otherwise stressful time.

Our visit was very nice and pleasant. Dr. Bland played baby shark for my daugther and she suddenly calmed down. Staff was friendly. I also met Dr. Shahbazi who is married to Dr. Bland. She was very nice.

Dr. Nicholas Bland was born and raised in Aiken, SC. After attending dental school at Tufts University, Dr. Bland moved to Savannah, GA where he began his career as a U.S. Army Dentist. While at Fort Stewart, Dr. Bland volunteered to be the Officer in Charge of Children’s Dental Health Month which helped to teach over 1,400 children from various schools in the surrounding area proper oral hygiene techniques.
It was during this time Dr. Bland realized his true calling to become a Pediatric Dentist. Before transitioning to the army reserves, Dr. Bland went on to serve as the Brigade Dental Surgeon for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division out of Fort Stewart, GA and subsequently the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, NC.
After serving a little over four years on active duty, Dr. Bland completed two additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry with New York University-Langone Dental Medicine in Central Arizona. While there, he was chosen by his attending faculty to serve as Chief Resident during his final year in residency.
At the conclusion of his residency, Dr. Bland returned to North Carolina and worked in one of the most underserved areas of the state. Dr. Bland received extensive training in sedation dentistry and providing treatment under general anesthesia through this experience.
In this area of North Carolina Dr. Bland became to be known as the dentist that plays guitar to his patients. He is passionate about music and loves to share this passion with others. Dr. Bland plays guitar and sings to every child visits him for an exam.
In his spare time, Dr. Bland enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing music, and staying physically fit. Dr. Bland is Currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and holds the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserves.

I would highly recommend Wiggly Tooth. My son is super scared to go to the dentist and he left laughing and smiling. Adriana was great and Dr Bland was equally as fantastic!!
