More about Dr. Niket Sheth, DDS
Dr. Niket Sheth completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997. He then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Diagnostic Radiology at the Chicago Medical School to improve his diagnostic skills in advanced imaging techniques including CT, MRI, PET scans, and Ultrasound.
After completing his DDS at New York University’s College of Dentistry, he went on to pursue a General Practice Residency at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx, NY. This experience was significant as it allowed him to develop strong skills in Emergency Medicine, Oral Surgery, and maintaining a Resident Dental Practice while being affiliated with a didactic curriculum as part of New York Medical College’s Northern Consortium. Upon returning to the Chicagoland area, Dr.Sheth joined his father in practice at Cass Dental Care.
However, his ambitions desired further knowledge and education to provide the best in cutting-edge, optimal dentistry. So he pursued a rigorous continuing education curriculum culminating in completion of The Implant Masters Series and the prestigious Dawson Core Curriculum in Comprehensive Occlusion-Centered Dentistry.
The completion of these programs is a significant and rare achievement amongst general dentists. Dr. Sheth continues to maintain affiliations with several prestigious dental associations including The International Congress of Implantology, The Dawson Alumni Association, The American Dental Association and its state and local societies. On a personal note, Dr. Sheth has been participating in several local races ,8K and 10K, (and a 10 mile in May) in preparation to run the Chicago Marathon in the fall of 2013.
