Advanced Dental of Jersey City is owned and operated by Dr. Peter Tsambazis. Dr Tsambazis has been serving the Jersey City and Hudson County area for over nine years and has been in practice since 1992.
Dr. Tsambazis performs all phases of General Dentistry, as well as Periodontics and Oral Surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Medicine & Dentistry, New Jersey School of Dentistry and a graduate from University Of Medicine & Dentistry New Jersey School Of Dentistry’s Periodontics Specialty Program.
Dr. T's advanced training has allowed him to specialize in advanced bone grafting and ridge reconstruction, sinus augmentation, periodontal surgeries and cosmetic crown lengthening and implants while regularly devoting a large amount of time to partial and full mouth reconstruction including Invisalign, porcelain crowns and bridges, and implant supported prosthetics.
Dr. Tsambazis is married to office manager, Rachel and has a daughter, Alexis Sofia. Dr. T enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, and traveling with his family.

Dr. Tsambazis was wonderful. Very friendly and careful. The assistant, however; was extremely rough. It was the end of the day and because she was ready to leave, she rushed through my cleaning, very aggressive , hurting me in the process. I would rather of come back when she could of taken her time, but she insisted on getting it done. I think she needs to be a lot more sensitive and considerate of the time she puts into the clients.

I found my family dentist! They made my daughter feel so comfortable for her cleaning and took the time to teach her how to better brush at home. I had 2 wisdom teeth extractions and am surprised by the little discomfort I feel.

Doctor Tsambazis was awesome, I highly recommended him.. His staff is friendly and he walks you through everything. If you're nervous getting your teeth removed, no need with him. It was a simple in and out process for me.. The longest wait time was waiting for the numbing to take affect in my mouth..

We moved recently and had not set ourselves up with a new dentist and we found Dr. Pete T. on ZocDoc. His ratings and feedback were great and so we took a chance. My daughter was in a ton of pain with a wisdom tooth. We called, rushed over and saw the doc within 10 minutes. The office is very nice and the staff are lovely! Dr. Pete was a pro and we were able to have 2 wisdom teeth removed within an hour. Dr. Pete is a sweetheart, his wife works there too and she is fab, and Faye at the front desk is vivacious. Great dentist and team!

My worst fear is the dentist but being that i was in serious pain from a cavity, i needed some help. Making an apt was so easy, I think every dentist should post their availability. When I arrived did not have to wait, they took me in right away.The dentist was very gentle and he explained everything to me making the appointment less scary. In no time at all my issue was resolved, the pain was gone, and I was on my way good as new again. I would recommend this dentist to anyone in pain.

Associate of Dr T saw me on May 2, 2015. She gave me a cursory cleaning ("because you need to come back for a deep cleaning anyway") and when I mentioned my left lower rear molar bothering me, she said, "there's something definitely there (as she looked at the X-Ray), but you really need a deep cleaning". I won't go back, I just cancelled a "dental emergency" appointment (to deal with that "there's something definitely there" issue), will go elsewhere.
