Dr. Prabhjot Kaur received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. After finishing school, she worked as an associate in New York for 4 years and then 4 years as MCD in Massachusetts. She then moved to Connecticut in 2013. She has spent much of her career providing dental care to children and enjoys making their trips to her office comfortable and fun. She is dedicated to making the patient experience truly outstanding.
Dr. Kaur is also a mother of two children. She is committed to learning all the new advancements in dentistry. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in different phases of dentistry. She has completed a mini residency in the placement of mini implants. Dr. Kaur has a great passion for dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the CT Dental Association.
Dr. Kaur's goal is to educate her patients and provide excellent dental care. She believes that by using modern equipment and techniques, the dental procedures are not painful anymore. She has over 10 years of experience in general dentistry, cosmetic, and surgical procedures. She listens to the problems and concerns of her patients about their oral health and then provides them with an optimal treatment plan.

Just as the name implies, the cleaning was gentle and I didn't experience any kind of pain. Everything went smoothly and never felt uncomfortable during my stay. I was able to book an appointment for the next day on Zocdoc which was very convenient.

My visit today at Gentle Dental in Middletown, CT with Dr. Kaur went very well. I went in knowing that I needed work, and with a high level of apprehension and anxiety due to my own lack of dental care over the past few years. Everyone at the office made me feel comfortable and reaffirmed to me that being there today was more important than my pass error of not going to the dentist. Although I need work done we set up a treatment plan and will be addressing all of my issues. Overall pleasant place with kind people who make you feel right at home.

I have a fear of the dentist and haven't been in almost 20 years. I went to Dr. Kaur based on a referral from a friend and I'm only sorry that I didn't hear about her sooner. She didn't lecture me, she understood why it's been so long since seeing a dentist. Everybody there made me feel so comfortable and I'm so happy I went!

The name really fits the doctor, this was the gentlest and most calming dentist visit I have ever had. Dr. Kaur has great bedside manner, is very patient and routinely makes sure you are comfortable. She didn't make me feel as though I was rushed through the process and didn't talk excessively while cleaning my teeth as if I could talk back!! Lol I always wondered why dentists would do that, knowing you couldn't really respond. Anyway I highly recommend this office and will be returning with my children.

I w She claimed to have numbed the entire areas not happy with any of my visits! I went in for some bonding and it it fell off that night.I went back a few days later to have it re-done and that bonding fell off the tooth also! I needed a tooth pulled at the next appointment and that was a nightmare also!She claimed to have numbed the entire area 4 times but she did not numb the entire tooth! I experienced the worst tooth pain I have ever had an she claimed the tooth was still infected and I needed another appointment! I will never return and have no faith in her as a dentist! Nightmare!!!!

Dr. Kaur's office is very close to my work and a client always talked so highly of the services at Gentle Dental that when it was time for me to go to the dentist, I decided to try Dr. Kaur instead of the dentist I usually go to. I was blown away by Dr. Kaur and her staff!! They are very welcoming and very thorough with insurance coverage, your treatment plan, and making you feel comfortable!! They are also incredibly sensitive to pain and went above and beyond to make sure I was as close as possible to my "happy place"! I can definitely say that I will not be returning to my previous dentist and will be a lifetime patient of Dr. Kaur's!!

We were So glad we found Dr Kaur! Dr. Kaur and her staff are absolutely AMAZING. Great office, great team, excellent care. I felt at home as soon as I walked in and left feeling like I had an experience that I hadn't had in a previous office. Definitely recommend this office to anyone in the area looking for a great family atmosphere. They practice good pain management and discuss additional charges prior to a procedure.

I have always hated the dentist and honestly that word is not enough . Many thanks to Dr. Kaur and all of the AMAZING staff, not only am I back on track but also no longer afraid of the dentist! I am grateful that I was able to finally put my anxieties to rest and get my dental health in check! I know my mouth is being well taken care of. Gentle Dental Family Dentistry is a great experience! Dr Kaur is an amazing dentist who explains us each and every aspect of the treatment. She makes sure that all our doubts are answered.She ensures that she spends time personally attending and answering all the patients' doubts . Above all, Dr.Kaur is very good with lots of great advice, to make feel comfortable with various treatment options. I had all my fillings and root canal done with specific plan scheduled in first visit itself. Thats Awesome for Doctor's office!!!!
