Dr. Mehr graduated from Beverly Hills High School with honors and UCLA with college honors and summa cum laude with degree in Chemistry.
Subsequently, Dr. Mehr attended Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York where he chose Periodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry as his areas of concentration.
After graduating from Columbia Univesity, Dr Mehr did a surgical based dental residency program at Maimonides Medical Center’s Dental and Implant Surgery Division, where he was chosen “resident of the year” by his attendings and peers.
Subsequently, Dr. Mehr started practicing dentistry both in New York and in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Mehr has been a faculty member (at different times) at Columbia University and UCLA School School of Dentistry. He has lectured and held continuing education courses for other dentists throughout the years. Dr. Mehr is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and American Academy of Oral Implantologists (AAOI). I’ve been seeing Dr. Mehr for the last 10 years and he is by far the best. I’ve referred all of my family members and they all still see him on a regular basis. Dr Mehr’s staff is also very knowledgeable and inviting. My favorite, besides Dr Mehr, is by far Edgar. If you have any dental needs... Dr Mehr is your man ??

His staff is also very kind and attentive, they were very informative about each procedure I was getting done. I've struggled all my life with having a phobia anytime I had to visit the dentist. I found Dr. Merh thru 1-800-Dentist two years ago after desperately needing dental work done and being disappointed with yet another new dentist.
At my first visit, right away the dentist and his team of staff greeted me with a warm welcoming and had me in laughter so much so that I forgot I my worries. Their professional team are hands down exceptional and accepted my PPO Insurance., I've been a patient of them for over two years now and even my teenage son asked to switch to Dr. Merh. (Yes! That good of a job!). I recommend this office to anyone who has had bad experiences with dentists in the past... This is the place to go to. Friendly, welcoming and very professional and honest.
