This may sound silly but I had the best time! They kept me laughing, were friendly and professional. I felt like I was spending time with friends, not at the dentist! No wait, I was in and out quickly. I have already recommended her to all my friends. Strangely enough, super excited to go back for my follow up appointment!

Dr. Rebecca Downie has been practicing as a dentist since 2008, loved by patients for for warm demeanor and clinical skill. Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Downie worked with her father and younger brother in a family-owned practice before moving to Tampa, Florida and starting her own practice, Pearl Dental Center. Growing up around patients made Dr. Downie uniquely aware of the importance of creating a warm and inviting practice. She offers general and cosmetic procedures, including exams, cleanings, fillings, bonding, crowns, veneers, bridges, dentures, implant restorations, routine extractions, routine root canals, whitening, and clear aligner teeth straightening. Dr. Downie earned her DDS from the Indiana University School of Dentistry, receiving the Academy of General Dentistry’s Senior Student Award. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the West Coast District Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Theta Theta Chapter Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

The entire experience was awesome! The office staff was extremely courteous and very accommodating (I had only scheduled a check up through Zocdoc but they were able to squeeze me in for a cleaning as well.) Dr. Downie is very nice, patient, and listened to all my concerns. She will be our family dentist from now on and I recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

I was looking to establish a relationship with a new dentist and based on my first visit, I believe I have found a match. Things important to me: 1) efficient interactions (paperwork, appointments, etc.) 2) don't want to feel pressured into buying extra services 3) and most importantly, the doctor and staff should strive to make what can be a stressful experience as reassuring and stress free as possible. Dr. Downie and her staff more than met all these requirements. I highly recommend her services and look forward to establishing a long term relationship.

Dr Downey has put together a great staff working for her. I was impressed with how quickly the the staff processed my first visit information and got me in the seat. She has all state of the art equipment and we got down to business. I like Dr Downey because she makes recommendations for work to improve your dental outlook, but minus the pushy sales approach you get from some of the larger dental groups. Thanks!

I was a new patient and couldn't be happier with my choice. Everyone in the office was pleasant and courteous. Procedures were explained as were results. I was treated by a temporary hygienist who was absolutely wonderful and treated me as if she had been there for a longer period than just this week. Dr. Downie checked in periodically to ensure all was going smoothly and after her exam she discussed what she saw as issues, why they were issues and potential solutions. All in all best dental experience I have had.

Having gone to the same dentist for the last 20 some years I hesitated switching, but due to his relocation further from my home I had no choice.
From the second I walked in to Rebecca's office I was charmed with a warm welcome from the reception and a fine and relaxing decor.
From there it only got better! The dental cleaning was perhaps the best in my life....that's a statement for a 54 year old woman!
Finally I get to meet Rebecca who does a thorough exam. Unrushed and truly caring and professional, yet the warmth of a long lost friend. Who could ask for more!
Here's to the next 20 years with Rebecca! The experience was 5 star all the way!

I was recommended to Dr. Downie because I've been through several dentists in the last few years. I was complaining to a friend about it and he recommended that I come to see her. I was very hesitant because I live in Apollo Beach, and driving to South Tampa for an appointment was not fun. However, it was COMPLETELY worth the drive! I was super impressed with the office, the hygienist (I had a cleaning while I was there), and the care and concern of the dentist. They didn't try to sell me a bunch of things I didn't need, they cared about me and my health. I'll be having my husband go to this office as well. They take insurance which is a HUGE plus for a local office. Super happy with them, and with my friend for recommending them!

This is the best Dentist office I have visited. Every body from the front desk to the Dentist are so caring and professional. They have a personal touch that is really hard to find and a real passion for what they do. I would totally recommend this office, especially for children. This was the best experience I have had with any dentist I have been to. Dr. Downie's office was over 30 miles from my home but, her reviews on line made me feel it was worth the drive. It truly was. Her team of assistants are excellent and so friendly. I never felt so at home as I did there. My fear and disappointment of dentists has kept me from going to the dentist for years. I don't have to worry about that anymore. She presented me with different options on how to go about treatment to suit my finances. I am so glad to have Dr. Downie be there for me as I go through the upcoming dental procedures I am facing.

From the moment I walked in, I felt that I would really like this place. It was clean and tidy. Organized and decorated tastefully. Betty, the receptionist was friendly, kind, and very prompt. Caring from start to finish. I did the paperwork digitally a few days before the appointment, BIG plus from me for this. I also happened to meet Dr.Downie immediately (just in passing as she had a patient before me.) she was very polite, warm and friendly as well. Then I had the great pleasure of meeting with Amy the Dental Hygenist, she took films, explained to me a few things, answered my questions very quickly and accurately. To say the least I was put at ease for anything I needed to know. I was worried I was going to get a bad report from my check up as I have been a little over due. But she reassured me anything that came up could be handled there. Both were very thorough and gentle. Never in my life have I had such a great experience when it comes to customer service and satisfaction they know what they are doing. Just an office full of friendly faces, helpful. And Pricing (cannot be specific on here) but it is the best deals you are going to find in the area and NO they DO NOT charge for happiness there. I left there just amazed and will definitely be returning for anything else I may need in the future. If you need a dentist and want excellence with AMAZING service this the place for you. One last thing I also had the pleasure of meeting Jaima(sorry about the spelling if it is wrong), although it was brief (she was very busy much like the other staff), she had a great attitude and was delightful.
