Even though it was a free consultation, Dr Lockett explained the treatment very clearly and stayed with me more than one hour long after 5pm, answering all my questions and concerns about orthodontics. She took photos of my bite and her own measurements to justify her thoughts about which treatment to follow, and she offered several options for braces (metal, clear braces, invisalign). After that, several quotes were presented. She is a very empathic person and motivates the patient to take the treatment without any pressure.

Dr. Lockett is excited to practice in Colorado Springs! She has always aspired to enjoy life and family, while creating lasting friendships and serving her community. As a young child, she herself needed orthodontic treatment, which further fueled her interest in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Lockett has studied multiple areas of dentistry before realizing her desire of becoming an orthodontist. As a dental hygienist, she was able to forge connections with patients, while also teaching them the values of proper dental hygiene and how it relates to overall health. She was then able to practice as a dentist and provide complete dental care to her patients. As she arrived at her dream profession of being an orthodontist, she was able to combine all of her dental knowledge to provide a comprehensive approach to her orthodontic patients. Dr. Lockett offers a full range of orthodontic treatment including, but not limited to, traditional braces, clear ceramic braces, lingual braces, Invisalign®, functional appliances and retainers.
Community service is an important aspect of Dr. Lockett’s personal life. Mentoring youth, promoting health awareness and uplifting the Colorado Springs community is her passion. Family is the core of Dr. Lockett’s heart. She is happily married with two wonderful children and two spunky dogs.

Dr. Lockett was very thorough with her approach to braces. Her office was very welcoming with an at home feel to it. They were willing to answer all of the questions we had, without making you feel stupid for asking. We were so impressed we set up to have my daughter's braces put on next week. We had a different orthodontist for several years but were looking for a more personable place. It seems like we found it here.

The facility is a 5 star! From the reception to the doctor wait time, everything and everyone was warm and welcoming. I love the level of attention and detail give to us as a whole. Everywhere I go, I can't stop recommending this facility!
