Dr. Kavee is board certified and has had further training with a fellowship in hospital Pediatric Dentistry. She has received several masters as well as the doctorate.In the Past she has been very involved with hospital dentistry and been program director of one fellowship and two residency training programs. Dr. Kavee Has participated in several NIH (National Institute of Health) growth and development research projects. She is presently involved in one with developing a better airway for children.

Dr. Kavee is amazing! My daughter was nervous about having her tooth pulled and Dr. Kavee set her at ease immediately, making her feel in control by explaining everything before and during the procedure. And then she went above and beyond by making my other daughter feel welcomed into the practice as it was her first time being there. Dr. Kavee is wonderful!!!

My 4 year old son had 4 really deep cavities discovered by my own adult dentist while he was playing dentist with him at my own appointment. This happened less than 2 months after a complete check up with Dr Kavee.
When I tried to get information from her, she was extremely rude and most unhelpful as my son faced oral surgery.

My 2.5 year old daughter had never been to the dentist and Dr. Kavee made it so easy. My daughter was instantly comfortable and actually enjoyed the visit! She had an examination, cleaning and had fluoride varnish applied. Dr. Kavee was kind, gentle, and funny. Looking forward to our visit in 6 months.

Amazingly pleasant doctor who genuinely loves kids, have availability Saturday and Sunday - just that alone is 10 stars for me with all those extra curriculum and homework on work week. My daughter loved her. Rohnda let her pick fruit flavored gloves, I never knew they existed! Rohnda goes above and beyond, answered all the questions and spend time with us. Stuff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!!

Having trouble convincing myself to go back to Dr. Kavee. She's nice and all, but on our last visit with my two teens, we waited - and waited - and waited... long past our appt. time. Over an hour, perhaps around an hour and 1/2 or more. The worst part of it was that not even her assistant came out to apologize and explain what the delay was. No status updates. Nothing...
In the end, we wound up leaving at around the hour 1/2 mark. I then got a call on my cell phone after we left. That's when her assistant decided to give a little explanation - that they had an 'emergency' patient who was taking up all of Dr. Kavee's time.
Bad timing I guess. I just wish someone had come out into the desolate waiting area (it was a Saturday) and gave a hint as to what the delay was. No one did though, unfortunately...

Dr. Kavee is wonderful. She makes children feel comfortable and makes their visit fun. I brought my four children in today and she cleaned all their teeth and did regular maintenance with X-rays as well as extracted three teeth and filled four cavities quickly and painlessly! Thank you, Dr. Kavee!

While the doctor is very nice the SECRETARY is beyond words!! She calls us and I explain I couldn't reschedule due to a holiday. Not only did this person practically tell but then she threatens and states we will never see your son again. I hope this doctor rethinks her ancillary staff as they are costing her patients.

Conveniently able to schedule appts on Sunday. Doctor had an emergency and was very apologetic about having to start our appt late. New hygienist was much better and not as rough as the previous person. Much more congenial personality too!
