About Dr. Yasmin Tontat
You have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Yasmin Tontat at our Park Slope location every Tuesday and Friday.
Dr. Tontat, DMD ("Dr. Yasmin") is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She is passionate about oral health and helping families build meaningful relationships with their dental team. Originally from sunny southern California, Dr. Yasmin studied Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she concurrently received her Master of Public Health through the Perelman School of Medicine and completed a fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to expand her training on caring for children with different neurodevelopmental disabilities. Having fallen in love with the east coast, she then completed her pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Kids/Columbia University Medical Center with special competence in caring for children with special healthcare needs and craniofacial conditions.
Dr. Yasmin is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry.
