Dr. Richard Vacca has been recognized in Virginia Living magazine as one of Central Virginia's topDentists™ for over 10 years and is honored to have received the Patients' Choice Award in 2012. Dr. Vacca received his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Michael Reese Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Vacca has been a family dentist in Midlothian, serving families in and around Richmond, Chesterfield, and Midlothian for 31 years. He's is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Virginia Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and serves as president of the Midlothian Dental Study Club.
Dr. Vacca and his wife Diane live in Midlothian and have three sons: Joe and his wife Kara (both Va. Tech Class of 2012) live in New Jersey with their two children; Will graduated from Va. Tech (Class of 2014 and VCU School of Dentistry Class of 2018); and, Dominic (Va. Tech Class of 2017) who is currently in medical school at V.C.O.M. (Class of 2022).
