PRACTICE AND PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is “prevention is key.” My staff and I deliver quality preventive care and equip our patients to maintain a healthy mouth and body.
I was born here in the Bay Area and was raised in a medically inclined family. My mother is a pathologist, and my father is a dentist (still practicing). Growing up, I knew I had a knack for the sciences. Still, I was unsure of my future career until about halfway through my college at the University of California, Santa Barbara. During my second year at UCSB, I began working as a dental assistant in private practice in downtown Santa Barbara and realized that it was the perfect career for me. Dentistry allows one to utilize both knowledge and creativity every day, and there is never a dull moment. From UCSB, I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating with the highest honors. I was then trained in a hospital-based General Practice Residency at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System and Stanford Hospitals. I continue to provide dentistry to Veterans one day per month. I am blessed to work with and learn from my father at his private practice in San Jose. I strive to further my knowledge of dentistry through continuing education courses and online study clubs. My goal is to fulfill each patient’s unique dental needs and provide ethical and lifelong comprehensive dental care.
