When I got there I wasn't sure if this was the place for me.. I had a 9 am appointment. ..but there was no one at the front desk after I kept saying hello over 6x...still no one came to the front desk and even acknowledge that we were there but after like 15 minutes later someone finally happened to pass by and I got their attention.after waiting for The Doctor to approval from my insurance, The visit went pretty smoothly and finally after like an hour and a half.i got my wisdom tooth pulled...what a headache that was...

Let's just say this review will take longer to write, then Dr. Rastegar took pulling out my Wisdom Teeth. I was out of the office in less then 1 hour, and the procedure took MAYBE 5 minutes. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, with the local anesthetic. As soon as my mouth was numb, the doc got to work. I walked out with my sister and the first thing I said was "WOW I can't believe how quickly he did it, he's getting five stars." I'm still recovering and I kind of wish he prescribed something, instead of just taking extra strength tylenol, but it's ok now. Deff. go see Dr. Rastegar if you have a tooth problem. Aside from him being awesome, the staff at the office is very helpful and welcoming! Thank you guys :)

Dr. Rodney Rastegar was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. He earned his bachelor of Liberal Arts in Economics with a minor in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1992. He went on to the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and graduated in the top 10% of his class in 1996. After graduation he served as intern, resident, and chief resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center having a world renowned Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program afforded Dr. Rastegar exposure to and experiences in all facets of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at very elevated levels. Upon completion of his residency in 2000, Dr. Rastegar entered into private practice with Dr. Gene Pezzollo. Over the years they have developed a symbiotic partnership which continues to thrive to this day.
Dr. Rastegar is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. To keep abreast of the latest developments in his specialty, Dr. Rastegar has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of New York State. He has devoted his professional career to all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and continues to practice its full score. Dr. Rastegar’s special interests lie in the rehabilitation of the jaws with dental implants and the reconstruction/grafting of the jaws for the placement of dental implants.
