About Dr. Isabelle Dematteis
Dr. Isabelle DeMatteis is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in New York City. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from NYU College of Dentistry where she also completed an honors program in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology. This is where she received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologic conditions of the head and neck region.
Dr. DeMatteis then continued her professional training at The Mount Sinai Hospital Center in Manhattan where she completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and served in the capacity of chief resident. She is also certified in dental general anesthesia and offers IV anesthesia services for patients of various ages.
Dr. DeMatteis currently practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus in dentoalveolar surgery including wisdom tooth extractions, apicoectomies, exposure of impacted teeth, implant reconstruction with bone-grafting techniques, sinus lifts, pre-prosthetic surgery, and the treatment of benign pathology.

She is a professional, who is thorough, has a caring bedside manner, answers all my questions. Top notch, I will highly recommend her to others. Very knowledgable & immediately made me feel comfortable & at ease. She also found my vein which has always been a hard thing for others to find.
