Visit went great and time wise, it was actually pretty prompt. I had a dental cleaning (which before this appointment, I hadn't had done in more than years) and I'm not a big fan of dentists but this visit, I think, went great. No pain or anything like that. I had a pretty quick visit as I have no dental issues.

Dr. Coscia grew up in Bayside, Queens and has recently purchased Atlantic Avenue Dental in December of 2011. He loves getting involved with the local community in street fairs and other community events. He provides diagnostic, preventative, restorative procedures (crowns and bridges), periodontal treatment and oral surgery.
In his spare time he enjoys gardening and spending time with his family. As well as occasionally banging out a set on the drums.

The front staff didn’t acknowledge me when I came into the office, they were on their phones & having conversations amongst themselves. I was on time for my appointment & I waited 50min until they finally called me up to fill out my paperwork. I felt very rushed once I was finally called into the back. Nobody introduced themselves to me & I never really felt welcomed throughout my visit. Once the Dr came into the room he started talking to me about my X-rays & than stated who he was. I was told after the exam to go to the front & schedule my next appointment for 6 months prior to leaving. So if you want to feel like you’re on a conveyor belt & not as a person make an appointment with this office, but don’t bother calling because they will immediately place you on hold, while they carry on with their personal conversations & not bother to get back on the line to you as I had the “privilege” of witnessing while I waited in the waiting room.

I was terrified that I would be waiting for hours before being seen by the doctor because I work overnight and had just got out of work at 8:30AM. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at how fast Dr. Coscia‘s office gets their patients through. This was my first visit. It took me 20 minutes to fill paperwork and get into the chair. After getting my x-rays taken, the doctor came in and proceeded to clean my teeth. He was thorough and I felt like he really took his time cleaning my teeth yet at the same time he worked quickly. It was painless and my teeth felt great. I felt comfortable with him and I appreciated him checking in with me and asking if I was alright during the cleaning. All in all, the visit took approximately 1 hour. Fantastic. I’ll be returning, and bringing my family with me.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I HAD THIS SWEET HILARIOUS SPANISH GIRL TAKE HER TIME EITH MY TEETH AND THE DOCTOR WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS AS WELL. DEFINITELY GO TO THEM!!! THEY ARE AWESOME!

Nice guy but I hate to say that I have never ever felt so much pain in my life after getting 4 teeth filled. I went in thinking it would be a small and simple procedure. Rather than making it 2 appointments to get all 4 teeth filled, I asked if I could do it all at once. I was told this would be possible with little to no pain. I usually hold back when I feel pain but every morning for a month after that appointment, I woke up crying while squeezing my head to try to numb the pain. I went back to only be told that it may just be my bite so he filed my teeth down. It wasn't the bite. After another few weeks of downing ibuprofen, I finally found someone else that informed me that the pain was from getting one of my wisdom teeth filled (rather than pulled). If he had offered me that option from the get-go, I could have avoided the ridiculous amount of pain I endured. Very disappointing.
