Dr. Samer Karam Khattab has more than 19 years of experience in general dentistry. He earned his first degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997 from University of Baghdad School of dentistry, after moving to the United States of America; he was accepted into the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry, earning his second dental degree.
Dr. Khattab is very passionate about dentistry, he believes “by improving people’s smiles you can improve their lives.” Also he believes strongly in continuing education to further his skills and techniques always aspiring to achieve clinical excellence in his day to day practice. Dr. Khattab regularly attends continuing education courses on Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry & Endodontics. In his free time, Dr. Khattab enjoys traveling , exercising, playing soccer, golfing, and spend time with family and friends. Dr.samer khattab was very gentle and professional in many aspects, he explained to me the step by step procedure and always checking on me if I need help or to rest. I had two implants in the same appointment, all went well .

Dr. Khattab takes the time to explain what he proposes to do, and treated me like an adult....something I, as a 62 year old patient appreciate. Dr. Khattab makes the most of the time you are in his chair, but was very solicitous of my comfort....he really cares.

Like most people, I hate going to the dentist, and I also hate filling out feedback forms. But here I am. After over twelve years since my last dental work was done, I saw "Dr. K," who is in my network of providers and is conveniently located near where I live in Lorton. I started with a very thorough cleaning last week, which went very well. Today, I received two filings. There is nothing fun about getting dental work done, but I could not possibly improve on my experience. I gladly scheduled another appointment for two more fillings, and plan to continue with Dr. Khattab as long as I'm in the area.
