About Dr. Carl Friddle
Hi, I’m Dr. Cody Friddle.
Dentistry has always been a central part of my life. I grew up in Arkansas, where my dad was a dentist. After finishing dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, I returned to Arkansas and worked with him for over 12 years. It’s fair to say that dentistry is in my blood.
After starting practice, I acquired additional training in cosmetic, orthodontic, TMJ and implant dentistry. I began an extensive course of continuing education and after countless hours of study and effort, I received my post-doctoral education by becoming a Fellow of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. This education has given me the skills, knowledge and experience to provide the highest quality of care for my patients.
My qualifications aside, though,
I’m now a dentist in Alexandria, VA, where I recently opened up my own practice. Drawing on my extensive experience in the field, I wanted to create a practice that offered exceptionally high-quality dental work in a truly stress-free environment. Friddle Dental was launched as a result. I’ve made it my business to offer the latest and most effective treatments to my patients.
To this end, I’m continually exceeding my requirements for Continuing Education in Dentistry to ensure that my knowledge and skills are always up-to-date.

I had a root canal done by Dr. Friddle and it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. After consulting with other dentists who weren’t confident, Dr. Friddle immediately earned my trust with his professionalism and calm confidence since the firsts time we talked . He explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and the procedure went so smoothly—I only felt the numbing injection. His clinic is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff are warm and kind. Even though I drove 1 hour for treatment, it was worth every minute. I highly recommend Dr. Friddle to anyone who needs dental care!

My visit with Dr. Fiddle was great! He and his hygienist were thorough in their treatment and both have a professional and friendly bed side manner. The exam, cleaning and an unplanned filling was done very efficiently and effectively. I appreciated his flexibility to treat the filling during the same visit. My experience was amazing! I’m generally not a fan of the dentist but my entire visit was amazing! I had to have a tooth pulled which could have been extremely difficult but it was seemingly painless. I have another appointment in 2 weeks to come up with a dental plan for the remaining work that needs to be done. All of my fears were put to ease and will be on top of my dental visits from now on.

Amazing work by Dr. Friddle. I went in for a cleaning and he had discovered that I had leftover “bonding” or glue that had been on my teeth for over a decade after getting a version of a retainer taken out in middle school. It had gone unnoticed by multiple dentists!! He is fantastic. All the staff there were so nice and fun to chat with! I love this place already

Hadn’t been to a dentist in a very long time, and the reviews had me convinced this is where I needed to go. The staff were so friendly, followed through with a thorough consultation and cleaning, and even went over questions I had about cosmetic work I’d like to consider down the road. My biggest worry was pricing given that I hadn’t been to a dentist in so long, but everything was very transparent, easy to understand, and very reasonable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
