Dr. Sandra Cuartas received her dental degree from the prestigious Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, in 1992. After working for a successful private practice for two years, her passion for her field and zest for knowledge carried her back to the Universidad Autonoma de Manizales School of Dentistry for a two-year specialization in Oral Rehabilitation.
After returning to private practice in Colombia for seven years, her and her family moved to South Florida. She was accepted to, and completed the competitive Prosthodontics residency program at Nova Southeastern University. While at Nova, Dr. Cuartas completed research on several prosthodontic topics, including the prominent field of implant-supported over-dentures. Additionally, she completed a two-month rotation, with an emphasis on removable prosthodontics, at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Dr. Cuartas remains actively involved in dental continuing education, and she is always updated on ever-breaking trends and treatments.
Her extensive skills includes everything from traditional crowns, bridges, and dentures to whitening, veneers, and dental implants. While not at the office, Dr. Cuartas enjoys watching her son play soccer. Furthermore, most of all she loves spending free time with her family.

Dr. Cuartas assistant is amazing. She is an incredible professional. Dr. Cuartas assistant did an outstanding Bleaching procedure today and the results are truly magnificent. Dr. Cuartas assistant explained to me every single detail about the procedure before starting and during the procedure She constantly check on me to be sure that I was comfortable and Ok to continue. Cuartas Advance Dentistry has the best professional staff ever! I'm very happy and coming back for my next appointment next week.

My husband went to their office to has his teeth clean. Then he made an appointment to have two fillings done, with one of them turned to a root canal and three zeros. I hoped that with their equipment, they would be able to let you know if you might need a root canal and not tell you about it when the whole tooth is gone. However, they did not mention about the consequences of having a filling removed. My husband is going to a business trip by the end of the week (to Africa) and I hope the root canal will let him do so and he would not end up in a hospital because of that. In the better cirsumstanes, my husband would have waited to come back from Africa to have such a difficult procedure done. I got disappointed. As an addition, when my husband learnt about the cost, the only thing the receptionist could say is "you are responsible for that". Not "so sorry you had this terrible experience" or "sorry we maxed out your insurance", but only that he is responsible for it. If course he is, but would you want to hear it after several hours of pain or even before the service?

Excellent! Very friendly docter and staff. It was my first visit and I had xrays, an exam, and a cleaning. In the past, the dentist usually had me come in another day for the cleaning, which was always an inconvenience. So this was a great experience.
