About Dr. Rick Mars
Dr. Rick Mars has practiced patient-centered dentistry in the Miami area for over 25 years and enjoys the relationship he has built with his family of patients. Dr. Mars always says, “Patients come first in our office, and I never forget one of the first lessons that I learned in dentistry: behind every smile is a person and thus, we treat people and not just mouths.” Most importantly, he not only loves dentistry, but has a great time treating his terrific patients alongside the amazing team at The Dental Care Group. He uses state of the art technology to provide outstanding dentistry in a safe, caring environment. If it is The Wand® to provide the ultimate in comfort when anesthetizing his patients or iTero® scanner that is used in lieu of those mushy impressions, patients know that they are experiencing something special when they are being treated by Dr. Mars.
Dr. Mars attended Emory University for his undergraduate education, continuing on to Georgetown University School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is an Invisalign® Diamond Provider and has lectured internationally on Invisalign for over a decade. He is honored not just to be on Invisalign’s Global Faculty, but was also named Invisalign’s Faculty Member of the Year. While he practices family dentistry, he places an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, as seen by the great smiles on his patients. It is not uncommon for a celebrity patient to be seen in Dr. Mars’s chair.
Dr. Mars was voted one of America’s Top Dentists for Invisalign, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentistry by Consumers’ Research Council of America. He is the first South Florida dentist to be chosen as a member of Invisalign’s (Align’s) National and Global Faculties He has presented in hospital settings nationwide on various dental issues over the years and has spoken internationally on multiple occasions.

Dr. Mars is the best Invisalign Dentist in town!! He is funny, caring and charming! He is also my regular dentist for over 18 years. I would recommend this practice to all my friends and family! They are top notch!

I’m not just impressed, I’m genuinely overwhelmed by the professionalism, warmth, and attention to patients at this incredible dental care group in Aventura. The office is modern, spotless, and welcoming, and I even got a tour. As a new patient who just moved from New York, I immediately felt this would be a long-term relationship. Everyone was professional, caring, and kind. Special thanks to Bonnie, who was amazing and made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. Dr. Mars was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He explained my X-rays and treatment plan clearly, and the financial coordinator went over everything in detail. The whole team works together like a family. And as a surprise, they even brought me a birthday cake with a candle, an unforgettable gesture. If I could give six stars, I absolutely would!

Amaaaaaazing dental office! Not only is it a full service office but the customer care is unmatched. They treat their first time patients like no other. The doctor called a day prior for my appointment to introduce & ensure I was ready for my appointment. If you live in the Miami area I highly recommend Dr Mars! He got rid of my pain immediately, his staff was super nice and professional and everybody made me feel very comfortable. I was lucky enough to find the Dental Care Group through ZocDoc when i relocated from Connecticut and Dr. Mars (and Dr. Winer!) are absolutely the best. In fact, the entire team from the receptionists to the dental technicians, etc. make going to the dentist (who wants to do that??) a welcome experience. I've experienced some unfortunate dental problems over the last couple years - which has required many extra trips to the dentist. If you hate the dentist, go see Dr. Mars!!! Take it from me. He and his practice will change the way you feel about those semi-annual teeth cleanings!

My case is complicated and its hard to say. I'm not the type to make quick judgments. But as we further go along I will know more. But I feel that's he's a lot better then the two places I went to who charged my insurance for a cleaning and xrays and they never did the cleaning. I went today to get xrays and I was late so I do my cleaning tomorrow and I'm going to be awaiting my plan. How we plan to save the teeth I currently have that is. I got in an accident and I think that's what first caused the beginning of decay. 14 months prior I didn't have cavities for five years. Then I was sent for therapy out of state and they didn't let me go to the dentist and I fear that my teeth are worst. I hope Dr. Mars will help me without cleaning out my pockets.
