Dr. STECKLER is an exceptional dentist. He is not only highly skilled and experienced, he is very, very efficient. He accomplishes more in a single visit than any other dentist I have had. He is readily available for appointments and makes room for you if there is an emergency. I have had many, many dentists over the years and I think Dr. Steckler is the best I have experienced. His right hand person, Sue, is absolutely delightful and very good at both office management and chairside assistance. I strongly recommend this practice.

The office accepted both appointments with my wife and me via ZocDoc; but when we arrived, they only had mine scheduled for the day. Told my wife that although they confirmed it; they forget to add her to the dentist’s schedule, next time not to use ZocDoc; but to call the office directly and they could schedule a time that was more convenient for her. Problem is, the time we had already selected on ZocDoc was MOST convenient for her and having to reschedule was now a MAJOR inconvenience.
The dentist was fine; but I went in for a cleaning. It felt like a routine cleaning; but he supposedly performed an additional procedure without my consent and did not inform me that there was an additional charge not covered by my insurance to perform it. I am also kicking myself that we didn’t ask to be billed and wait for our claim to be processed because we were also overcharged for something the insurance disallowed, so now we have to go through the hassle of contacting them to get a refund.

This was the worst experience I had in history. I went to annapolis dental care in suite 12B I had an appointment to see Dr. Scott Steckler at 11AM I was literally coming from an hour and 15 mins away from his location. I was on the road and noticed that I was running behind due to traffic I spoke to the receptionist she assured me it was fine and that I can still come in. I got there roughly 20 mins after 11 to be exact. I felt it was urgent I literally have a hole in my teeth. They got me to the back took pics of all the teeth and they put the light blue paper around my neck. They held me in the back for 40 mins waiting for them to start. They said you came in late you have to book another appointment. Doc stated, " I have a more severe case at 12". They were deceiving and very greedy. Instead of being honest they told me to come in for nothing and I was charged and I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. What a terrible experience today. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately this was not a pleasant dental experience. I had one of the last appointments of the day and felt that Dr. Steckler was extremely rushed. He fixed a permanent retainer I had and it looked terrible afterwards. Also, he and his receptionist were bickering in front of me which was uncomfortable to say the least.

Dr. Steckler performed a very difficult endodontic procedure while he addressed a tooth decay issue. In my case, many dentists would have referred me to an endodontist. With Dr. Steckler the procedure went perfectly and painlessly.I have had no pain after the procedure either! He gave me a pain prescription but, I have not needed it. He has a great personality. He is funny, super smart but, humble. His prices are reasonable. I actually look forward to my visits and travel out of my way from Washington DC to see him. He is a super dentist. Look no further.

Needed emergency cosmetic dentistry on a front tooth. Dr. Steckler and his staff were immediately responsive and did a great job of doing a temporary fix with a permanent fix to follow within 2 weeks!

My Dentist fear was erased in minutes. Dr. Steckler has a awesome bedside manner. He explained everything as he went along and made sure you were comfortable and at ease at all times. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful when I needed assistance. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice.

I had the best dentist experience I've ever had with Dr. Steckler. When I arrived, I was greeted by name even though this was my first visit. Before I could sit in the waiting area I was brought back for x-rays etc. Dr. Steckler personally did my teeth cleaning and ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole experience. I was in the office for less than 30 minutes in and out. I would highly reccomend Dr. Steckler to anyone in the area looking for a new dentist!

My original visit to Dr. Steckler was for tooth pain that was coming and going throughout the day. I had never been a patient with him before, but he was immediately able to get me in to see what was going on with my tooth. Dr. Steckler listened intently and asked questions to clarify and was able to diagnose my pain quickly. I ended up needing an emergency root canal and he was able to shift around a couple of appointments to relieve my pain that day. I normally have a fear of dentists because of bad experiences in the past, but Dr. Steckler and his nursing assistant was able to put me right at ease. He worked quickly and efficiently and had me out of his office within a hour and a half (including the x-rays and the time waiting for the numbing agent to take effect). I have already set up my next cleaning with him and am glad that I found a good and reliable dentist to go to.

This was an interesting experience. I was overdue for my annual cleaning and had just moved to MD. I intentionally scheduled an appointment later in the day so I didn’t have to leave work early. The receptionist called me the day before to see if I could come in about an hour early so they had more time. So, I obliged but then had to wait about 20-30 mins. Upon arriving the receptionist complained to me that the doctor had just done an amalgam mold with the previous patient and was kind of messy and spilled it all over the bathroom. In my head I thought, “I hope you aren’t going to be sharing these kinds of things about me with other patients.” I finally saw the doctor and he was very nice and helpful. When I went to check out I spoke to the receptionist for a few minutes and went to my car to run some errands. Thank God I looked in the mirror because I had dried blood and saliva running down my face. I’d like to think that either the doctor would have cleaned it or the receptionist would have said something since I talked to her.
