Her office staff is amazing. My insurance has quirks regarding the number of xrays that can be performed per visit and other things such as that. They knew all the ins and outs and ensured they stayed within what my insurance would pay. It is really hard to find an office that cares about maximizing benefits and staying within the guidelines.

Dr. Parekh and her staff are kind and accommodating to my entire family. They are very knowledgeable about insurance coverage and they inform me about any additional costs my insurance may not cover before the procedures. Additionally Dr. Parekh is friendly, fun to talk to, and she keeps current on the latest technology for fillings, cleanings, procedures, etc. My X-rays and cleanings never hurt and my 9 yr old isn’t afraid of going to the dentist anymore. Her office is conveniently located in First Colony Sugar Land. They expertly schedule appts such that there is little to no wait time before you are seen. I highly recommend Dr. Parekh. You won’t be disappointed if you switch dentists to her office.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Parekh attended the University of Michigan for her dental school. After dental school Dr. Parekh completed a postdoctorate at the Universiy of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Parekh stayed in Texas and joined a general dentistry team in Houston for five years. In 2010, she began her private practice in Sugar Land and strives to uphold the longstanding reputation for excellence that the practice has enjoyed throughout the years.
Dr. Parekh is dedicated to staying on the leading-edge of dentistry and continually takes postgraduate coursework to fine-tune her skills. She also maintains membership with the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. These professional organizations help fuel Dr. Parekh’s drive to provide patient-centered dental care.
Dr. Parekh is married to Kapil whose family has been living in the Sugar Land community for many years. Aside from meeting new people and reading-up on dental discoveries, Dr. Parekh enjoys spending time with family and friends. Other interests include traveling, exercising and playing tennis.

She was a little rough, but she was very good about explaining what I needed to do and was not patronizing about how long it had been since I'd been to the dentist. I was very apprehensive and knew I needed a lot of work done. But the office was very helpful in giving me a schedule with a breakdown of the work and costs.

She's very nice,quiet and understanding. She wants you to have a nice experience. They offer payment plans if you are faced with an expense you went expecting. She will prioritize what you need to have done,so that you can do it a little at a time. There aren't any frills,just nice basic care and attention. Very kind office staff too. My daughter has always feared dentists. I left this office very happy. My daughter felt so comfortable there with the dentist as well as her staff. They explained procedures to my six year old to where she understood and felt comfortable. Thanks to the dentist and her staff ????

Dr. Sheela Parekh, lead me to believe that she could do a simple tooth extraction, but was not able to do so. She attempted to extract my tooth breaking it off then sectioning and drilling it. After failing to remove the tooth she gave me two prescriptions and two referrals sending me home to try to get a surgeon to remove the tooth she damaged. No pain prior to this. She was heartless and showed no concern for me, how I felt or whether I could see a surgeon on an emergency basis or not. However, after I paid my bill and walking out of the office; I returned and demanded that someone help me find a surgeon that would see me that same day. The receptionist helped me find an excellent surgeon who was willing to work me into his schedule after the incident was explained to him. This visit was an absolute nightmare.

Unlike most other dentists I have been to, they are always on time with your appointment and you actually see the dentist for longer than 2 minutes. Dr. Parekh actually does the cleaning and really examines your teeth. Extremely professional and great dentist experience all around.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at the Dentist. She is so gentle that I fell asleep in the chair while getting 3 fillings! The office environment is great. The Administrative Coordinator is very courteous and professional. The best thing about Dr. Parekh is that she lets you know what's going on with your teeth without the bullying and ridicule that you can often receive from dentists. I highly recommend this practice and my entire family has a new dentist!!!

Good visit overall. My main concern is the high number of times (5) that my X-rays had to be taken over and over by the technician...since radiation is involved. Just don't let it happen again...

I was very pleased with my dental appointment at Dr. Parekh's office. Dr. Parekh has excellent bedside manners and was very gentle in my teeth cleaning. The office staff was extremely polite and efficient.

THE THING I RESPECTED THE MOST IS HOW SHE ADDRESSES WHAT TYPE OF WORK HAS TO BE COMPLETED RATHER THAN COMPLETING THE JOB TO ONLY RECIEVE A HIGH BILL IN THE END. THEY ALSO OFFERED PAYMENT PLANS AND WITH THE ECONOMY TODAY WHO DOESNT NEED THAT, ESPECIALLY WITH MAINTAING A BEAUTIFUL SMILE.
