I never felt so comfortable at a dentist office and so well-informed as I did with Dr. Mazhari. I hadn’t had great experiences in the past (as I’m sure most people have) but this was different. Dr. Mazhari was gentle and I could barely feel that she was working on me. Afterward, I loved the final product and felt like a million bucks!
Thank you Dr. Mazhari, please don’t ever move away!!

Dr. Sheila Mazhari completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland College Park and her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences in Miami, FL. Dr. Mazhari chose to stay in Florida because of her love of the warm weather to complete her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
Since moving back to the DMV area, Dr. Mazhari has completed hundreds of continuing education hours in all aspects of dentistry to ensure that she provides top-notch dental care to her patients. She has especially maintained a focus on cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, CAD/CAM dentistry, and sleep apnea therapies. She is a member of the all the top and local dental associations and has also been a continued volunteer at Mission of Mercy, which provides free dental care to underserved and uninsured families in need. In 2017, Dr. Mazhari was awarded the prestigious honor of America's Top Dentist from The Consumer Research Council of America. Her goal is to ensure her patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment. Her commitment to all her patients is to provide the most quality care and keep them as comfortable as possible.

I broke my front tooth and Dr. Mazhari not only repaired it, but she took the time to fix some other areas that were chipped and broken and now I have such a better smile. She’s so sweet and the best, thank you Doctor!

Dr. Sheila saved me a few years ago from losing all of my teeth. I was deathly afraid of the dentist as I had a horrible experience as a child and one day I ended up in her chair and she changed my life. I was on the verge of needing all my teeth taken out but she was kind and patient and took care of me at my own pace. I started off seeing her shaking and taking anxiety meds and don't need them anymore. I thank her everyday because she really went the extra mile unlike any other dentist I've ever seen in my 54 years.

As a dentist myself, it's hard to find someone that I trust to take care of my oral health but Dr. Mazhari has helped me on multiple occasions when I've been in a bit of an emergency. She's wonderful at what she does.
