About Dr. Aws Tameemi
Dr. Aws Tameemi is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2010 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Dr. Tameemi expanded his education by completing a periodontics preceptorship program at UCLA School of Dentistry. He then continued his postdoctoral studies at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York, earning his Advanced Education in General Dentistry degree.
Since obtaining his DDS degree, Dr. Tameemi has gained strong clinical experience by practicing for years at various locations within Northern Virginia. This has provided him with extensive experience in dentistry, ranging from simple fillings, cosmetics, root canals, Invisalign, oral surgery, to implants. His patients trust him for being honest and caring. He spends time explaining treatment plans in simple ways. His mission has always been to provide personalized dental care with long-term success.
He believes that a smile is one of the most universal tools of communication and is a strong advocate of preventive care. Dr. Tameemi's hands-on experience and commitment to continuing education have allowed him to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, enabling him to offer the best possible dental care to his patients.
When not in the office, Dr. Tameemi enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He has a strong passion for soccer, and his hobbies include playing tennis, chess, staying fit, and traveling.

This was an emergency visit. The Dr saw me almost immediately and assessed the problem. I received a root canal and meds. Staff was friendly and professional. Gave me a blanket to take the hill off the room. Dr was very efficient at explaining options. Staff confirmed my insurance coverage and my cost. Follow appt tomorrow.

I used to hate dentists and be afraid to go to the dentist but when I started going to Tysons Corner Dentists I stopped feeling the way I did. Dr Tameemi is very caring, helpful and understanding. I will not forget how patient he was with me and how he gave me the best possible result.

I haven’t had the best experience with dentists in the past but Tysons Corner Dentists has been fantastic. They make you feel welcome, cared for, and are extremely understanding. I have a lot of issues with my teeth. Dr. Tameemi listened to my concerns and my fears, and worked with me to determine the best course of action. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you are nervous or anxious about going to the dentist.

The easiest fillings I’ve ever had- I felt absolutely nothing after the numbing shot. 4 small cavities were done in 30-40 mins! Super friendly & professional staff. Clean facility & new equipment. I’m glad I found Dr. Tameemi and his office.

Love this dentist! Everyone in the office is so friendly, and they do a great job scheduling routine and urgent appointments. Dr. Tameemi is excellent, and I’ve never had to spend more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. I’ve never been this happy with a dentist’s office. Highly recommended.

I have been to too many dentists for too many years, the truth is you always feel distressed going to the dentist, but finally after I got to know Tysons Corner Dentists that kind of feeling vanished. You feel the friendly atmosphere and Dr. Tameemi and his assistant makes you feel relaxed and good and they tell you in detail what you need to know. I indeed would recommend Tysons Corner Dentists to everyone and I already did .
