Dr. Sherry Mirafzali is a general and cosmetic dentist with over 23 years of experience. She graduated from New York University School of Dentistry and subsequently completed residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She had held several teaching positions in New York, Michigan, and Shanghai and currently is on faculty at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She has an exciting and unique background, having previously served as founder and director of the department of dentistry at Shanghai United Family Hospitals and Clinics – the first international standard hospital and dental department in Shanghai – as well as serving as Managing Director of Advanced Dental Solutions.
With her background teaching and practicing dentistry both within and outside the United States, she offers a wealth of experience in diagnosing and treating even the most complicated general, restorative and cosmetic dental conditions. She is passionate both about the art and science of achieving a healthy smile in every patient. She is married to a physician and has three children. Her hobbies include miniature painting, swimming and family life. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Farsi and conversational Mandarin.
