My tooth extraction experience with Dr. Patel was excellent. He has an excellent bedside manner, actively listens to the patient's concerns, and helps formulate the best plan of care with the patient. While I hope that I do not ever need any more dental work of this nature, I will certainly be using Dr. Patel in the future if necessary and will absolutely recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Patel is both a dentist and a physician, completing both his dental and medical degrees at Columbia University. He finished his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. During his training, he participated with Healing the Children in the countries of Colombia and Ecuador treating children with cleft lips and palates. Dr. Patel was also part of one of the first teams involved in CT guided implant placement at Columbia University.
Dr. Patel was born and raised in Philadelphia and went to Boston University for college.
Dr. Patel and his wife enjoy spending time together and enjoy traveling.

Dr. Patel is nice but seemed to want to give the the answer he thought I was looking for instead of a firm medical opinion. I would recommend more confidence.

Everyone was very welcoming. my visit was a recommendation from my dentist for a lump in my mouth. Explain my visit to him and that was that. Disappointed at the amount charged as a consultation fee since the doctor did not do a oral examination.
