About Dr. Ngoc Nguyen
Ngoc (Vanessa) Nguyen, DMD, is a skilled and passionate dentist whose mission is to help her patients improve their oral health and boost their self-confidence with a bright, healthy, and beautiful smile.
Dr. Nguyen has been a Virginian since 2009. She later moved to Illinois to study dentistry at Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine Illinois (CDMI), where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During her time at Midwestern University, Dr. Nguyen received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry, including restoratives, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, and more.
After graduation, she returned to Virginia and started her own practice to help patients of all ages with various dental needs. Dr. Nguyen strives to educate her patients on the importance of oral health and how to take better care of their teeth.
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her family and her golden retriever, Bomi. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and photography. She loves exploring new places, learning about their culture and cuisine, and capturing local scenery through her camera.

Loved this visit! I was very anxious for this dental cleaning because I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years. The hygienist Patricia was so sweet and nice and so was Dr. Nguyen. They put my anxiety at ease and made me very comfortable.
