She further advanced her expertise by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she gained comprehensive experience in delivering high-quality patient care.
She is a detail oriented general dentist with an affinity for cosmetic dentistry. Experienced in several departments of private practice ranging from assisting, insurance and office management to provider. She strongly believes in the power of teamwork making the dreamwork. Aside from the work she accomplished intraorally, she takes pride in her patient management skills and her bedside manner. She strives to earn her patients’ trust and make them feel safe in their dental home.
She believes the most effective method to build a positive rapport with patients is to listen to their concerns. Discuss and answer questions they may have about treatment. Sometimes patients have other things happening in their lives which can explain their dental condition. If they can discuss these things with the dentist, creative solutions can be put into place to ensure that their oral health is being taken care of. Treat patients with empathy, dental treatment is not only in the oral cavity, 50% could be attributed to being at ease. Explain the procedure, believe the patient when they say they are in pain, and always be honest, even if you have to admit you did something wrong.
Dr. Loo is affiliated with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, and Hispanic Dental Association. In addition to her professional practice, she is passionate about giving back and enjoys volunteering with local organizations. Dr. Loo is fluent in both English and Spanish, which helps her connect with a diverse patient base. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys baking, cooking, drawing, and photography.
