Without question this was the best dental experience I have had. Dr. Alten was extremely friendly and put me at ease right away with his sense of humor. He was very professional and took the time to explain my treatment, even including videos. Kathy at the front desk was great at explaining my insurance while Theresa the dental assistant took X-rays that were painless and digital. Highly recommend.

This was the fastest dental cleaning of my entire life. Which for some, that might be a plus. But for me, it seemed rushed and not quite thorough. I left feeling very confused, like I didn't receive a real cleaning and that it was a hack job. Also it was the most painful cleaning of my life, which again can be contributed to the fast pace of the cleaning. Overall, he was nice and his staff was nice, we all chatted about my job and other things. But it didn't feel like a real appointment or a real office. I do not recommend at all.

I've never felt so unimportant to a doctor, it was as if neither the dentist himself nor his receptionist cared at all about having patients. Not a single smile or greeting that was kind, I felt as if I was taking up their time and burdening them with my last minute emergency appointment request. I waited for 20 minutes past my appointment time even though there was no one else in the waiting room and the dentist was seemingly just talking to the receptionist while filing paperwork. Although I requested an emergency appointment I was hoping to also get a cleaning done, but the dentist told me I would have to come back another time for a cleaning and literally did not pull out a single dental tool when he examined my mouth. The experience was truly awful and I am not one to write a review like this but I felt the need to tell others that this place is not worth your time and money.

I have to say that I really put off going to the dentist for a very long time & I was extremely pleased after my first visit with Dr. Alten and his team. He really worked with my schedule to get all my dental work in before leaving for the summer. The root canal he performed was quick and painless & I am in love with the end result -- I can smile with confidence again!!
He is a genuinely pleasant person, I won't lie I am even looking forward to going back to get more dental work done. All of the staff is wonderful and warm as well -- my overall experience was great.
I have already recommended him to friends & family -- If you live in the greater Philadelphia this is the dentist for you.

The absolute best experience I've ever had with a Dentist, in my adult life. Dr Alten was attentive, caring and extremely patient. He took the time to explain the procedures thoroughly and in layman's terms. I'm actually looking forward to my future visits. The Office Staff is equally accommodating and courteous.

The office is very professional, both the woman at the front counter and the hygienist were very nice, pleasant and made you welcomed. The office is clean and modern. The Dentist was very informative, and put me at ease. Great bedside manner. I was looking for a regular dentist office in my area, and I found it!

Dr. Alten was wonderful. He was sitting at the front desk when I walked in, let me know that someone else was running late which wasn't a problem since I had some forms to fill out as a new patient. I was the first appointment of the day, was seen at 9:30AM and they got me in and out by 10:15AM after a cleaning/exam, xrays, and two fillings. I would highly recommend them, they were great people and health professionals. I'll be back!

I was extremely disappointed with this dentist. He rushed me, he was rude and he wasn't even able to help me. Unless you want a dentist who is extremely condescending, I would avoid this dentist. The dental assistant was nasty, rude and rough. The woman at the front desk was very nice.
