Dr. Chamish, our founder, received his Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College in 1976. He completed his postgraduate education at Georgetown University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1980.
He has been practicing dentistry in New Castle since completing a General Practice Residency at the Wilmington Medical Center in 1981.
Dr. Chamish is committed to the pursuit of continuing education in order to keep abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. He is a graduate of Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation, ICOI, American Dental Association, Delaware State Dental Society, and the American Society of Anesthesiology.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jean, their children, and their children’s families. Dr. Chamish has been practicing martial arts since 1980, is an avid musician and also enjoys golf and reading.
