In recent years, the practice was acquired by The Smilist Dental, where Dr. Balis continues to thrive professionally. She currently serves as the Clinical Director of The Smilist in Washington Township. Dr. Balis started in general dentistry with a special interest in pediatric care and has since expanded her focus to more complex dental cases. She is especially passionate about helping anxious patients feel at ease and takes pride in transforming smiles—allowing her patients to feel confident and happy with their teeth. She genuinely loves her work and finds deep fulfillment in helping others, whether through improving oral health or restoring self-confidence through dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Balis has been happily married for 28 years and is a proud mother to two grown children, ages 26 and 23. She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband.
