Originally from India, Dr. Tella trained at one of the best dental schools in the country. In order to keep her practice up-to-date, she attends seminars through both the Irving Dental Study Club and the Southwest Dental Conference. She also completes continuing education courses.

Dr. Tella was professional despite some initial communication issues. I have a pre-existing blood pressure issue, and that was addressed as well as could be expected. It is important that anyone who is administering an anesthetic of any kind takes responsibility and addresses any concerns that they or their patient may be feeling.
Aside from my issue, I can definitely say that Dr. Tella cares about what she is doing; type A personality and will not accept less than perfect. This in turn means it may take longer to achieve a cleaning/dental repair procedure, however I am not one to disagree with this. I would prefer everything be done right or not at all. This isn't a haircut, this is your mouth. My experience was very unlike the last cattle-call dentist office experience I had elsewhere, which was absolutely awful.
In short, I highly recommend Dr. Tella as you are lucky to have anyone listen and address your concerns. It is becoming a rarity in the medical industry to receive personal care. I would rate her 5 stars all the way, but I fear she would lose her edge.

This was our second appt and attempt at getting cleanings. We waited an hour for the first person to get in....another 2 for the second and I had to get rescheduled. I understand things happen but this was the second appt that we were in the offices for so long. They were fairly apologetic re: this, although the first time, no one said anything about not being able to see us at the appt times set up. I think they were possibly double booked?? We will give it one more try...

Dentist was 45 minutes late to the office, which means I was seen 45 minutes after my scheduled appoitment. The dentist then proceeded to try and sell my every treatment possible: braces, crown, root canal when I have no issues with my teeth. Once thuse were rejected the cleaning happened which was unnecessarily rough. The type of rough where your entire mouth hurts for days after. I'm temporarily working in Irving and it was time for my cleaning which is why I scheduled with this dentist as opposed to my regular dentist. Definitely won't be back after today's treatment. Dentist have a bad reputation these days and this dentist fits that reputation perfectly.

Best dental visit I've ever had!!! I normally fear going to the dentist but she made it comfortable and was very reassuring throughout the entire procedure. Excellent bedside manners with a gentle touch.

I've been here for a few times - 2 cleaning and 2 filling visits. Each time I was seen quickly, the procedure went well, and I got to watch Netflix the whole time. I've moved across the Metroplex to a new home but I'm planning on remaining a patient here for as long as possible!

It was probably the best experience I've had with a filling. I was in and out pretty quickly and I didn't feel any pain at all. Growing up I dreading going to the dentist because of the pain you would feel, but now I have no fears because I really didn't feel any pain whatsoever. Of course everyone is different so maybe a few people will need to be numbed a bit more, but they informed me that that would be unlikely for me.

I had a dental emergency (broken teeth) while travelling, so I had to immediately find a dentist in a strange city with whom I oculd get an appointment on a weekend or evening with short notice. Dr. Tella and her staff took care of my urgent problems quickly, competently and painlessly, and all on a Saturday when many other dentists in the area were not available.
