About Dr. Anthony Henegar
Anthony Brent Henegar, one of three brothers who graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving and pursued careers in dentistry, has shown dedication to his field since his early school days. His ambition to become a dentist was established in 7th grade. Throughout high school, he nurtured this aspiration by joining the Health Science Club, where he gained valuable experience and information about dentistry.
Admitted into dental school at the young age of 19, Henegar completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston School of Dentistry in June 1995. Remarkably, at just 23 years old, he was the youngest student to graduate that year in the state of Texas.
He began practicing in Irving shortly after graduation. Owing to his rapidly expanding patient load, he relocated to three different locations within the city. In October 2004, he moved into his own freestanding office building. During his tenure at this location, he served as the dentist for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders for several years.
Dr. Henegar has volunteered to teach about dental health in the school system. He has also done volunteer work at a dental clinic for indigenous communities. He belongs to the Dallas County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
In 2018, Anthony Henegar sold his dental practice, marking the end of an era. However, after several years, he is now eagerly returning to dentistry-a calling he simply cannot ignore.
One constant throughout his journey is the positive feedback from his former patients. They praised the painless injections they received at his office, highlighting his expertise. Now, as he embarks on a new journey in our current office, he carries with him the confidence that his reputation will persist.
